Bucks County Free Library About the Bucks County Free Library Board of Directors Bucks County Free Library board members are appointed by the Bucks County commissioners. The board serves as the governing body for the County branch library system of seven libraries, the Bucks County Free Library Federated System, which additionally includes community libraries in Feasterville, New Hope, Northampton, Warminster, and Wrightstown, and the Doylestown Library District, which includes all state-aided public libraries in Bucks County. Community members that would like to be considered for board appointment should contact the County commissioners in writing with a letter of interest and resume. Board Meetings The library board meets at 5:30 p.m. the third Tuesday of each month, except in May, when the meeting takes place the third Wednesday. Meetings are open to the public, and the public is encouraged and invited to attend. Community members that would like the board to consider an item as part of the regular agenda should contact the board president in writing at least three weeks before the meeting date with a brief summary of the area of concern.
