The Not-Just-A-Lemonade Stand Contest

How To Enter

1. Read the Official Rules and print the Entry Form.

2. Create your business.

• Choose your business! Run a lemonade stand, a mowing service, or a book sale. Figure out what interests you and create a small business out of it.
• Create your business plan using the questions on the Entry Form.
• Choose your location. Make sure you get permission to operate your business on that site.
• Between June 16 and August 4, run your business.
• Take pictures and record your experience. Have fun!

3. Complete your Entry Form.

• Fill out the Entry Form, telling us about your experiences and your business plan.
• Include at least one picture of your stand with your Entry Form. You can include print copies or send them to us at lemonade@buckslib.org. Make sure the photos are clearly labeled with your full name and phone number. Make sure each person that appears in your photo gets a copy of the Media Release form for their parent to sign.
• Bring your Entry Form and the Media Release Form to your local Bucks County Public Library no later than August 11, 2012.

4. Winners will be notified by September 4, 2012.

5. All contestants

• All contestants will be invited to Not-Just-A-Lemonade-Stand party in September at the Yardley Branch of the Bucks County Free Library where the prizes will be given. All contestants who attend the celebration will receive a prize for participation. Details will be sent to the email address provided on the Entry Form. The names of all winners will be posted to the Bucks County Public Library website.
  

Official Rules - Bucks County Public Libraries Not-Just-A-Lemonade-Stand Contest 2012

• Any child, age 7-12, may enter. In the event of a group submission, the prize will be divided among the group members listed on the Entry Form.
• The business must be held between June 16, 2012 and August 4, 2012.
• Choose your location to operate your business, but make sure you get permission first. You are fully responsible for all operations of your business.
• The money you make is yours to do with what you wish - open a savings account, donate it to charity, save for college, etc.
• Not-Just-A-Lemonade-Stand Entry forms will only be accepted between
  June 16, 2012 and August 11, 2012.
• Include at least one picture of your business with your Entry Form. You can include print copies or send them to us at lemonade@buckslib.org. Make sure the photos are clearly labeled with your full name and phone number. Make sure you hand in a Media Release for each person in your photo, signed by their parent or guardian.
• Contestants agree to allow Bucks County Public Libraries to use their first name (or team name) and photo submissions for Library marketing and promotion that may appear on the web or other media, including the Library's print publications.
• The winning stand will be selected by a panel of independent judges based on creativity of design, how well you ran the business and the best business plan. Honorable Mention prizes will be awarded to the most creative stands. Judges decisions are final.
• The winner will receive $500. Smaller prizes will be awarded to the runner up and honorable mentions.
• Winners will be notified by September 4, 2012.
• Prizes will be awarded at the Yardley Branch of the Bucks County Free Library in September 2012. Winners or their representative must be present to win.
• Contest entry form and pictures become the exclusive property of the Bucks County Public Library. In the event of a group submission, prizes will be divided among the group members listed on the Entry Form.
